It sucks that we have so many shared weapon users, but the gameplay does look pretty fun so far. That makes 39(38 if Han Dang's short pike isn't unique) different weapon types, with only 7(or 6) characters that have their own unique weapon. With the game coming out soon, I thought it prudent to list the amount of weapons and their users in this game: Assuming the port is decent PC players should be getting all over this now that MonHun World is delayed by almost a whole freaking year. People have been moaning about the Warriors' game for so long and when they actually legit make some of the biggest changes they've done in over almost 2 decades no one seems to care. Kinda bumped to see this thread die by the time Sunday rolls by. That guy did not sound like someone that should be leading the Wei army #NotMåowCow I hope that's just place holder cause I'm concerned if that's what we have to look forward to. Did not expect that infiltration mission they showed, looks kinda neat and they also showed exploding arrows? I wonder if you can buy consumable special arrows and use them in combat. I'm getting a mix of Skyrim and MGS in that footage Skyrim for the world and MGSV for the gameplay loop. Not sure how they are gonna balance that but I guess you can always musou out of it for both players and AI. Could be a welcomed addition, allows characters without air juggle capabilities to also chain together huge strings. Also looks like they added OTG to the combat, I don't think any DW has had that expect for vs peons or that affected generals outside of musou attacks. Obviously I have not played the game so that might change but they kept the main things I want to see in DW combat, they kept the juggles and strings into musou finishers, happy with that. I'm also fully on board with the combat from what I've seen so far. It doesn't even have to be cutscenes, even voiced dialogue from NPCs acknowledging the player's choices would make a huge difference. Allow players to come back with jacked up lvl5 weapons late game and see different story moments if they can do all the sub areas and main area if they choose to do that. I want to be forced to make choices and have that change the story in small ways like DW8's hypothetical(s). Now I hope they don't make everything too easy and let players mop the floor and clear out all the sub areas before tacking the main mission. I was skeptical but linking different areas to a main mission and depending on what you do in a sub-area have an effect was what I had hoped they would do. Looks like they are making good use of the open world.
